AN EVERYDAY QUESTION
Self-Reflection Questions
Sometimes you know something needs attention.
You just do not know what.
Life can feel busy enough that the easiest thing is to keep moving.
Work.
Plans.
Messages.
Responsibilities.
Other people's needs.
And somewhere underneath all of that, your own thoughts become harder to hear.
Reflection does not need to mean analysing your whole life.
Sometimes a few good questions are enough.
01 — NOTICE
Start with what is already here
Before deciding what should change, notice what is happening now.
You might ask yourself:
What has been taking up most of my mental space lately?
What part of my life feels easier than it did a few months ago?
What keeps returning to my mind even when I try to ignore it?
There are no correct answers.
The purpose is not to judge your life.
It is simply to see it a little more clearly.
02 — CLARIFY
Not everything needs fixing
Reflection can easily turn into another improvement project.
What should I do better?
What should I stop doing?
What should I change?
But that is only one side of the picture.
Try asking:
What is already working?
What do I have enough of right now?
Sometimes the useful realization is not that something is wrong.
Sometimes it is noticing something worth keeping.
03 — DIRECTION
One question can be enough
You do not need to understand everything today.
You do not need a perfect plan.
You may only need enough clarity to notice where your attention wants to go next.
Reflection is not about having all the answers.
It is about asking a better question before rushing toward an answer.
